Date of visit: December Ask Jesb about Bistro Guillaume. Thank Jesb Reviewed December 8, Great food service could be improved.
Our waitress introduced herself and she looked after us all evening - her service was superb. Our compliments to the chef.
The specially made birthday desert capped off a very memorable evening. I have given up eating out as I always come home disappointed but this was a fantastic experience.
Meals were a reasonable size and very tasty. Staff were attentive and professional and it made for a great evening.
Thank you. Staff exceptional - attentive and efficient without over doing it. I enjoyed a marvellous Crab, chilli, cherry tomato, garlic, herb and lemon pasta.
So good! The Lemon tart was delightful but could have had a bit more than the tiny dab of cream they gave. Room slightly too dark - one couple by the window were using their iPhone light to read the menu lol.
Romantic place though. Good wine list. For my mind overall much better value than going to the Atrium buffet - better food and cheaper. Such a letdown on a special day.
Staff were friendly and the decor is pleasant and light. The meals were very generous serves and delicious but the three courses took two and It's a Monday night It's the week before Christmas, The Crown hotels are all fully booked out and it seems every Western Australian is out and about, so I'd expect all restaurants within the Crown complex to be pulling out their Wrong orders brought, dishes forgotten Staff apologised but the care factor seemed close to zero!
Was last here in and service was atrocious then. How they've survived the past 7 years I have no clue. Let me start from our welcome to Restaurant with an unsmiling gentleman.
Used your Stay Safe app - yes I have. Sanitised your hands - yes to that too. Still not directly looking at my group, another person showed us to our table, 7 of Took a while for drinks order, equally as long for our main course.
My friend and I had the duck, I am a great lover of Duck and always order it at restaurants. Oh I wish I had taken a photo, there were 2 pieces of dry duck on a bed of peas Eventually caught the attention of the waiter for dessert, and later coffee.
No smiles, a great disappointment. Went for mid week lunch beautiful setting and as mid week not to busy food amazing service amazing have been there quite a few times never disappoints.
We chose Bistro Guillaume for my wife and my joint birthday dinner, and we found ourselves a fan of the venue after our first class experience. However, we were quickly reassured that this would be a memorable night to remember for all the right reasons the moment we stepped in till the time we paid and left.
We were made to feel welcomed and valued even though I only have the basic white Crown Rewards card status.
He was also very accommodating to grant our request for a beautiful private booth table with an open view of the oasis and pool.
Harsh was our waiter who serves us throughout the evening. He was knowledgeable, pleasant and more importantly, seems to enjoy his job.
And I am glad to say that Harsh excels in that area. He constantly checked in on us subtlety without being intrusive to make sure we are ok with the meal and service, and proactively offered us more bread to share.
Meal wise, we had an overall enjoyable 3 course dinner. My wife loved the chicken liver parfait with grilled sourdough entree, and had the linguine crab mains which she found a tad bland.
My beef tenderloin mains was delicious though would have loved a bit more jus.
